No seats, really?
I called to ask what time to arrive for cue in line as I knew it was General Admission. We got there 1:45 minutes before but found no seats! No seats. The standing hurt my sister for the next two days. The fans' average age was late 40s, with my sister being 57 and me being 65. When I called about handicapped parking, there was no mention of a small section of handicapped seating or what documents were needed to access it. My sister has handicapped privileges for parking. See, nothing about the music so far.
When the schedule first came out, there was no mention of a warm-up band. The Txulpis or something like that were okay, apparently discovered by the Daley. I guess I'm jaded from all the acts I've seen in my lifetime. The preband performed for 35 minutes, then it took 35 minutes to change the sets before the Daley finally came on. By this time, our legs were numb. The Daley are good. They were supposed to play 19 songs, but we left after 7. They had fans there. I know they keep ticket prices down for fans by having General Admission, but they need to reassess. It's 40 years later; people have money.
I had been to this venue before for The Dixie Dregs and there were seats. When I bought the tickets, I read the Ticketmaster info, which said General Admission could include standing, but I just assumed. Positives: The venue was clean, and the acoustics were very good.
Suggest that STANDING be displayed prominently on the advertisement.
